Football fever

World Cup fever is upon us. Lloyd’s of London has predicted that France has the most expensive football team and so is the most likely to win the 2018 World Cup. And now that Germany have crashed out of the World Cup there is much relief among England fans that we will definitely not lose to Germany on penalties this time round.  If you entered our World Cup sweepstake, good luck. If you hate football – good luck finding somewhere that doesn’t have the football on. And back in the real world, here is our latest news from MA Group.

Charity Golf Day and Dinner

Thank you to everyone who supported the MA Group Charity Golf Day and Dinner at the glorious Oxfordshire Golf Club. It was another successful event – the thunder and lightning held off and we raised a fantastic £8,935 for the Oxford Young Adult Clinic.

The golfers enjoyed the Oxfordshire Golf course immensely, and the non-golfers thoroughly enjoyed the spa treatments and chef masterclass. Aaron James, the compere, was on top form again during the dinner and awards presentations and it was a fantastic social event. Thank you to all our wonderful clients, suppliers and colleagues who made it such a fun and special day.

NHCC update

NHCC goes from strength and strength and we are pleased to announce that it is now working with Redrow Homes and Hill Group.

Redrow is one of the UK’s leading housebuilders and a FTSE 250 company with a heritage stretching back to 1974. Hill is one of the leading developers in London and the South East of England. It is a 5 star housebuilder employing over 400 staff.

NHCC is already working with Bovis Homes, David Wilson Homes, Antler Homes and Persimmon Homes carrying out defects repairs of all sizes and levels of complexity.

NHCC specialises in providing end-to-end customer care services to new home builders across the UK, including the use of bespoke software designed to meet the unique needs of house-builder customer care teams. MA Group MAD awards

The May winner of the MA Group monthly MAD Award was Sean Lonergan from MA Assist.

Sean is an apprentice and has only been with us for two months. He has settled in really well and has already started taking control of claims. In particular he has recently sorted out issues on a long running claim with a loss adjuster, resolving queries on costs and pushing the claim through to approval.

Well done Sean, you are Making A Difference!

MA Dry

The next MA Dry course takes place 17th-19th July in Redditch. It is open to all suppliers and clients, basically anyone who wants to learn more about the science and practical skills needed for the most efficient and intelligent methods.

This three day course is a good mix of theory and practical. Two days are spent studying the science and theory of drying out water damaged properties and one day is spent learning the practical skills, such as how to carry out a proper moisture survey with the correct equipment.
