A month of winners
Lloyds of London got it right and France won the World Cup. England may not have been winners this time, but we have news of lots of other winners this month – MA Assist Supplier of Q2, Virtus Surveyor of Q2, our monthly staff MAD award winner and the winner of our Golf Day World Cup sweepstake. We also have news on our latest MA Dry course and our ISO 9001 accreditation.
As usual we will not be issuing a newsletter in August, so we hope you all have a fantastic summer and make the most of this glorious weather while it lasts.
MA Assist Supplier of Q2
Congratulations to Ian and the team at IPC Construction who are MA Assist Supplier of the Second Quarter 2018. They were Newcomer of the Year 2017 and are continuing to do a great job in 2018. A certificate and bottle of bubbly are on their way to them.
Property Services SDS came a close second. They were the winner in the first quarter of 2018 and are a consistently high performer.
It was a very close race this quarter as there were ten suppliers at the top of MA Assist’s supplier league table who are performing very well, and the staff vote was very close as well.
So this quarter we would like to mention the other eight suppliers from the top of our league tables who deserve our thanks for such great service:
Well done to Building Repair Solutions South, KNK Building Services, Araya Services, Willis Construction, Zenith Construction, Northdown Property Services, 1st Class Results and Charter Property Repairs.
A special mention goes to 1st Class Results and Charter Property Repairs who are newcomers to our network. They have understood and embraced our systems, keeping their customers happy and the control centre staff happy too.
Virtus Surveyor of Q2
We are delighted to announce that Shaun Millen is the Virtus surveyor of Q2 2018. Shaun has taken on a high volume of claims from Virtus and still maintained a high level of service – his availability and response times have been excellent and he submits his survey reports the same day. He has received very high NPS scores from customers and a lot of positive feedback from the Virtus staff.

MA Group MAD Awards
The June winner of the MA Group monthly MAD Award was Sheldon Bacon from MA Assist.
Sheldon was nominated by NHCC for the high quality work he produced in helping to prepare for a presentation to the Board of Directors of a well-known house builder. His diligence and attention to detail, as well as initiative shown in collating supporting information/photos, was very impressive.
Sheldon definitely Made A Difference, and is being recognised for that.
MA Assist’s latest MA Dry course took place on 17th-19th July in Redditch. As usual our trainer, Jerry, made the science of drying very interesting and we had some great feedback from the course attendees. 13 people attended this time and all of them passed the test at the end. Congratulations to John Wickins from Denham who passed with distinction.
Jerry said the attendees “came across as interested and attentive, had a good working ethic and absorbed the information as presented.” So well done to everyone who attended.
Feedback from the course attendees included: “The course was very useful, having previously attended a 3 day course on the same subject, the way in which Jerry delivered the subject was much easier to understand and therefore made it much more relevant to those like me who can very easily get blinded by the science.”
We are thrilled to announce that MA Assist has just concluded the ISO 9001 Quality Management System audit to the new standard, and has passed the audit with no actions to undertake.
Thank you to Adam Tansley who has been instrumental in ensuring the business conforms to the new standard and that MA Assist passed the audit with flying colours.
World Cup Sweepstake
Congratulations to Sally Eagling of Zenith Construction who was lucky enough to get France in our World Cup sweepstake. She has won a signed photograph of Geoff Hurst which we hope will take pride of place either on her wall at home or in the Zenith offices.
