Keep calm and carry on

The country may be in lockdown but here at MA Group it has been business as usual wherever possible. We are supporting our 200+ suppliers and branches through these difficult times, with help from our clients, by identifying claims where it is safe for our suppliers to continue working, providing advice on the UK Government’s guidelines for the construction industry and providing health and safety advice and input where needed.

We have also taken the opportunity to use some under-utlised staff to complete projects, such as the Scoper customer app (see below). And we bring you news of the latest award winners for the first quarter of 2020.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel our annual charity golf day which was planned for June, but we hope to bring it back next year.

Revival sanitisation service

Our Revival branches can provide a comprehensive sanitising service for any business that is concerned about coronavirus. Through its trained technicians Revival‘s comprehensive service meets British Damage Management standards and is designed to ensure that the risk of virus transmission is minimised.

Revival’s sanitising service will provide reassurance for businesses and staff, enabling them to use their workspaces just four hours after sanitisation.

Revival can carry out sanitising of all touchpoints including, but not limited to, workstations, cables, monitor screens, keyboards, desks, light switches, door and window handles, telephones and other electronic items and office equipment. We can also clean and sanitise carpets, rugs and hard floor coverings.

MA Group Customer Scoper App

e are delighted to announce the launch of a new customer friendly app which supports the capture of key claim related information, including digital video footage and associated imagery to aid the pro-active management and swift settlement of claims. It is an easy-to-use app that  customers can use to capture digital footage and claims information.

This has been developed from our multi award-winning surveyor validation tool, Scoper, which has been successfully used by Virtus since its launch just over three years ago. Not only ideal for these challenging times when access to customers’ homes is limited, we will be using this app across the MA Group to desktop property claims, investigate issues and check on snagging works.

MA Assist Supplier of Q1 2020

The MA Assist Supplier of Q1 2020 is Mercer Building Services. Mercer have had some long term staff absences however that hasn’t affected their ability to perform month on month. Getting great feedback from customers and always striving to provide an excellent service to MA Assist , they have always been a good performer but the start of 2020 has seen them excel. Charlene and the team are well deserved winners.

A very well deserved runner-up is IPC Construction. Ian and Raya at IPC continue to run a steady ship, rattling through work with excellent customer satisfaction results. Well done to this quarter’s winners.

Virtus Surveyor of Q1 2020

The Virtus Surveyor of Quarter 1 2020 is John Dawson.

John has continued to be a top performer, and during the recent surge of claims his response was outstanding. John managed to deal with a large volume of claims, ensuring reports were sent from site and quality was maintained. This enabled these reports to be dealt with quickly and effectively which made a huge difference in a time of significant activity. As always John was a pleasure to deal with and the team want to thank him for all his efforts. Well done John.

Revival Branch of Q1 2020

The Revival Branch of Q1 2020 is Scotland.

Revival Scotland have again stepped up to the mark in what has proved to be a difficult first quarter for 2020. Their administration has been admirable, including the collection of customer satisfaction questionnaires which have provided us with a plethora of excellent responses, demonstrating the high standard of work they produce. Despite the challenges we are all operating under, they continue to perform well.

Well done to the team in Scotland.

MA Group MAD Awards

We had two MAD Award winners for March – Harriett Ringsell and Aaron Baker, both based in our Aylesbury Control Centre.

Harriet demonstrated how quickly she has assimilated the training on complaints – the Quality Team think she’s fantastic! Harriet always shows endless positivity which all of us in the office appreciate – keep it up Harriet!

Aaron received no less than 4 MAD announcements in the month from clients, the Supply Chain team, and his own team for all the work he did covering in staff absence. Keep up the great work Aaron.

Harriet and Aaron will each receive a £25 One-4-All Gift Card.

he inaugural MA Group Awards Lunch will take place on Thursday 15th October 2020 at Chartered Accountants Hall in Moorgate, London. The guest speaker will be Kevin Keegan OBE and he will be helping us to celebrate the best of property services across the MA Group. There will be a slap up lunch, lots of networking and awards for the best performing suppliers, staff and branches across the group.
