MA Group expands

We have lots of news for you this month, but the biggest piece of news is our acquisition of Revival Group (see below). MA Assist has published details of its innovative new methods for managing the capacity of our builders in these difficult times, we have launched a new extranet and we bring you news on the usual MAD awards.

Revival Group

On 20th February MA Group acquired Revival Group, a leading fire and flood property restoration business.

Revival complements our existing businesses – MA Assist, our long-established market leading property claims management and fulfilment company, and Virtus Validations, our property surveying and validation business that puts the customer at the heart of the claim – through its expertise in fire and flood restoration and trace and access services for the high net worth sector of the industry.

As a result of this acquisition, MA Group is now the only business in the UK that can provide claim validation, restoration, management and fulfilment services under one roof.

MA Assist, Virtus Validations and Revival Group have well-established reputations for delivering high levels of service to clients and customers. By working together as part of the MA Group these businesses can now offer even better, integrated services with reduced friction and hand-offs, high levels of efficiency and co-ordination resulting in more cost-effective claims management solutions for the property insurance industry.

Our strategic focus over the last few years has been to build a robust, reliable and resilient capacity to deliver world class, efficient and effective property claim handling services to our chosen markets. This acquisition will allow the MA Group to capitalise on having three key assets under one roof being validation, restoration and property fulfilment services.

This acquisition means that we can offer our clients a differentiated proposition by having an integrated service that will eliminate the need for inefficient hand offs throughout the claims process, improving the claims journey for customers.

We have already moved the Revival head office from Chalgrove, Oxford to  66 High Street, Aylesbury. We are looking forward to investing in the technology, people and infrastructure to ensure that Revival grows and delivers an even better service for our clients and customers as part of the MA Group.

Know Your Limits

Earlier this month MA Assist published an update on its new, innovative approach to managing capacity in its Building Repair Network (BRN). The current capacity challenges of the building industry are well known. Strong demand for new homes, large infrastructure projects, Brexit uncertainty encouraging many EU workers to return home and fewer apprenticeships have all conspired to create a shortage of capacity in the world of construction.

This capacity challenge is also an issue for property insurers and property claims managers. So  MA Assist has developed a new approach to measuring and managing the capacity of its suppliers, which encourages the suppliers to priotitise MA Assist work by assigning capacity to suppliers based on how much work they have finished and invoiced to MA Assist over a given period.

MA Group MAD Awards

he winner of the MA Group MAD award for February was Adam Tansley from MA Group .

Prior to the launch of the new extranet Adam worked until 01:50 in the morning generating all the documents and reports needed for the launch. Well done Adam – without this dedication the project would not have completed on time.

MA Group extranet

We have developed a group wide extranet to help us better manage the relationships we have with our clients, suppliers and staff. Not only is the extranet a repository for all the key information that everyone needs to access, but it is also an efficient and dynamic way of communicating.

Our suppliers can access their latest performance reports, know your limits reports, remittance advices and contractual information.
Staff can access the information they need for all suppliers and clients in an organised and efficient way.
Clients have access to their contractural information and communications from us, as well as the 5 star ratings of each of our suppliers.
The extranet is set up for Virtus, MA Assist and Revival and there is a Client Hub too. If you would like access to a particular area of the extranet please get in touch with your Supply Chain Manager or Business Development Manager.

MA Group Charity Golf Day and Dinner 2019

SAVE THE DATE! – Thursday 6th June 2019

This year we will be returning to Magnolia Park for our Golf Day! Once again we will be bringing together our clients and suppliers for a day of golf and networking, followed by a drinks reception and dinner, all to raise money for our chosen charity – The Oxford Youth Action Clinic which supports young people following a kidney transplant.

Golf will be a Stableford competition, although we would be delighted to welcome individual players. If you would like to join us on what is always a fun packed day, then please email Sally-Ann or call 01296 678129 for an entry form and more information.
